The Forgotten-Coast stretches a little
over a hundred miles from (A)
St Marks Florida to Mexico Beach along scenic U.S.
Highway 98 (a/k/a/
A1AWest).
Some of the country's most pristine beaches, state parks,
and wild life refuges are located on Florida's Forgotten
coast The area is home to one of top 5 sport fishing
areas in the U.S.. The drive along U.S. 98 is dotted with
dozens of great seafood restaurants, antique shops, quaint
motels and BnB's. One of the areas more colorful bars is
Harry's Bar located in Carrabelle, Fla.. Established
in 1942 a walk through their door is like a walk back in
time. The Blue Parrot beachside Bar & Grill is located on
the gulf on St. George Island. Pretty sure Jimmy has been
there a few times. For a great vacation...visit the
Forgotten-Florida coast. |
